Andrew Ng

Mr Andrew Ng is Group Executive of DBS & Head of Treasury and Markets. He joined DBS in 2000 and was named Managing Director and Regional Head of Trading in 2005.

Since 2006, Andrew has been instrumental in leading DBS Treasury and Market’s expansion in the region. In addition, he helped build a pan-Asia trading platform on different asset classes and established a region-wide local currencies derivative capability for the bank. He has also expanded DBS’ capabilities in generic and exotic derivatives.

Andrew has worked in the treasury business for over 34 years. Prior to joining DBS, he was Executive Director at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce from 1995 to 1999. In that role, he set up CIBC’s trading platform and derivative capabilities on Asian currencies. Between 1986 and 1995, Andrew was Head of North Asia Trading and Treasurer of Chase Manhattan Bank in Taipei.

Samuel Koh

Mr Samuel Koh joined OCBC Bank in April 2013 as a Head of Interest Rate Trading and is currently the Head of Global Treasury Trading. With thirty-one years of experience in the financial market, he has been a thought leader at various stages of the development in the emerging markets in Asia. He started his career with Citibank Singapore in 1990 and has worked in various capacities in Citibank, Pacific Asset Management and OCBC Bank in Singapore, as well as HSBC and Bank of China in Hong Kong. Mr Koh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Masters in Applied Finance from Macquarie University Australia.

Leng Hoe Lon

Mr Leng Hoe Lon is Head of Financial Markets, Singapore, Australia and Brunei, and the Head of Macro Trading, ASEAN & South Asia at Standard Chartered Bank, which he leads a set of diverse traders in the ten different local offices in the region

Hoe Lon has over two decades of experience in trading and investing in financial markets across Singapore, London, and Hong Kong. He started his career in Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, ABN Amro, and was appointed Managing Director at Goldman Sachs. In 2011, he made a switch to the buy side, following his investing dreams, to join Tudor Investment Corporation as a global macro portfolio manager focusing in Asian markets. In only five years at Tudor, he has managed over $500M of assets, accumulated returns of 25.4%, and was promoted to the CEO of the Singapore branch.

Jacky Tai

Mr Jacky Tai is Group Head of Trading, Treasury & Markets, DBS Bank. He joined DBS Hong Kong in 1999 after spending more than 10 years with JP Morgan, Nomura and Dresdner in Asia and New York. Tasked to build up DBS Greater China trading operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China and under his leadership, the Greater China teams have won many awards and accolades.

Taking on his current role in 2018, Jacky has been able to effectively lead the global trading business for DBS Group to embrace the Asian connectivity, tremendous growth of local markets by product, variety and depth, and the digitization journey for the customers, traders, sales and support staff.

Eileen Chia

Ms. Eileen Chia joined UOB in 2014 and has over 20 years of banking experience in Global Market Sales. She leads a sales team of more than 180 personnel, providing hedging and investment solutions in all global markets asset classes including FX and interest rates. The sales teams have presence in all major ASEAN and greater China markets, supporting various client segments from Financial Institutions to Large corporates and Small & Medium Enterprises.

Before UOB, Ms. Chia spent the earlier part of her banking career in Bank of America before assuming leadership roles in Nomura and Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi. She graduated from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore with a Bachelor of Business Studies (2nd Upper Honours) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. Ms. Chia has interests in banking evolution, including digitization of financial services. She is actively involved in UOB’s initiatives in supporting Fintech startups.

Gavin Roy Powell

Gavin Powell is the Managing Director, Head of Markets & Securities Services for HSBC in Singapore.

He is responsible for the HSBC Global Markets business including Institutional and Corporate sales, Trading of Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and Derivatives, Equities sales, Execution, Research and Markets Treasury. Gavin has oversight of the Securities Services business covering fund administration safe custody and trustee services. He is also is a key member of HSBC’s ALCO, Risk Management Committee and Bank Executive Committee.

Kenneth Kan

Mr. Kenneth Kan is Managing Partner and Chief-of-Staff at Dymon Asia Capital. He joined Dymon Asia in 2012 as Head of Execution Trading and was appointed Chief-of-Staff in 2017 where he works closely with the partnership on the growth and culture of the firm. Mr. Kan heads up Dymon Asia’s Business Development Team and ESG efforts while overseeing the firm’s Human Resources, Communications, CSR and Office Administration departments.

Prior to joining Dymon Asia in 2012, Kenneth worked at Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Marathon Asset Management, The Royal Bank of Scotland and Standard Charted Bank, focussed on Asian Emerging Markets FX trading.

Marc Bonnici

Mr Marc Bonnici joined Tullett Prebon (Singapore) Ltd as Director of Interest Rate Swaps in July 2005 and is currently the Chief Executive Officer. He began his career as a Trainee Money Broker at Garban London (formerly Harlow Butler London) in 1997. He has more than twenty years of experience in the money broking market. He specializes in regional OBS products, with majority focus on SGD OBS. His team covers areas such as fixed income securities and derivatives, interest rate derivatives and treasury products.

Mr Bonnici is currently an Executive Committee Member at FMAS and SMBA.

Michael Teo

With more than 15 years of financial services experience, Mike currently helps major corporations build digital and automated corporate treasury solutions that meet regulatory demands in his current role.

His expertise is on connecting corporations, hedge funds, real money asset managers, brokers and banks to OTC and listed markets globally via the Bloomberg Terminal with Bloomberg news, data, analytical tools and workflow technology.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Mike was a money broker at Traditions Singapore. He started his career in IT sales and marketing, and holds a Bachelor Degree from NUS.

Sabrina Tan

As the Head of FX at Scotiabank, Sabrina leads the Sales and Trading team across APAC region. Harnessing the power of the banks’ global network, local expertise and diversity, her team is involved in bringing forth the best solutions to their clients globally. A member of the senior management team in the Global Capital Markets Asia, she and her business partners play an instrumental role in ensuring Asia overall business is aligned to the bank’s Global Strategy.

Tan Eng Khoon

Tan Eng Khoon is a Divisional Director at Tradition Singapore Pte Ltd, an interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition and one of the world’s largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity related products. Represented in over 28 countries, Compagnie Financière Tradition is listed on the Swiss stock exchange.

As Divisional Head of Non-Deliverable Forwards (NDFs), he is responsible for developing profitable forex strategies with coverage across regional banks. Before joining Traditions Singapore, Eng Khoon was a Director and Co-head of Interest Rate Swaps Derivatives and NDFs managing Asian currencies. He brings over 40 years of professional experience in Money Broking.

Yeoh Herr-Ling

Yeoh Herr-Ling is based in Singapore joined ANZ in 2011. He leads the global Principal FX trading team. Yeoh is also responsible in spearheading ANZ Markets South East Asia in its continued effort in connecting the Antipodeans to Asia in his capacity as Head of Markets South East Asia. In SEA Markets coverage, Yeoh is responsible for Trading, Sales and Balance Sheet Management operations of ANZ branches & subsidiaries.

Yeoh has 27 years of experiences in Financial Services predominantly on the sell-side and in particular FX and FX Option Trading. Prior to ANZ, he spent 3 years on the buy side as a Portfolio Manager in Millennium Capital. Yeoh holds Masters Degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor Commerce from Melbourne University.

Max Rozario

With over 30 years of experience in the financial markets, primarily in the Interest Rate Derivatives division, Max was one of the pioneer brokers in the Asian non-deliverable rates realm and has successfully run teams across various Asian currencies. Currently with BGC for the last 17 years, he has also been a part of the FMAS Exco for many years, focusing on their membership and social aspects. He sees his contribution to FMAS as a way of happily giving back to the industry that has nurtured his career and given him so many good years.

Vernice Moh

As the Managing Director for ASEAN at Refinitiv, Vernice leads the sales and account management teams across the ASEAN region and is also the Site Lead for the offices in Singapore. Her team helps financial organizations and corporate customers achieve their business objectives through Refinitiv data, analytics, trading and workflow solutions. She currently sits on the Refinitiv Asia Leadership Team, and works closely with the other business leaders to amplify the voice of the customer in Asia to global counterparts and product development teams.

Bryan Yap

Prior to starting his own boutique family office in 2008, Bryan spent 20 years in the global markets divisions of Citibank (1988-1996, rising to Vice President) and as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank ( 1996 -2008), where he last served as Co-Head, Emerging Markets Asia. He helped to evolve multiple businesses at both institutions.

At Deutsche, Bryan also served as a senior member of the Global Markets Executive Committee and as a director of Deutsche Bank International Asia, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank Singapore. At the industry level, he represented Deutsche at the Singapore Foreign Exchange Market Development Committee for 8 years.

As a financial market professional, Bryan was elected to the ACI Singapore – The Financial Markets Association (now known as FMAS) executive committee since 2001 (highest positions held: Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer). Bryan also chaired the annual ACIS Charity golf event in 2003 &2004 and has continued to serve on the charity committee up till today.

Today, Bryan’s business focuses mostly in the private equity space.

Sneha Sanghvi

Sneha joined Westpac in 2015 as the head of Financial Markets, Asia. Her responsibilities include trading, sales and structuring across Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Commodities in dealing with corporate and institutional clients. She leads a team of specialists located in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Mumbai providing financing, investment and hedging solutions to Westpac’s clients across the region and worldwide. She is based in Singapore.

Sneha is actively engaged in the financial markets community through representation at the Executive Committee of ASIFMA and ACI, Singapore. She is a passionate advocate for about diversity and inclusion within financial markets.

Ravichandran

Ravi started his career in the financial markets as a broker followed by a couple of years stint in Tokyo. In 1994, Ravi joined HSBC’s Global Markets sales team in Singapore where he worked for twelve years covering execution flow in treasury products. Ravi than joined Traditions to established the THB IRS Desk. In 2006 he joined SCB Singapore to cover the SEA Financial Institutions and Central Banks on flow execution and soon after Headed the bank sales desk. Ravi has always dedicated himself in building lasting relationships in Singapore and in the region.
