Chairperson’s Message
Hello and welcome to the FMAS Annual Charity Golf Event 2025 (CG25)!
This year, the Financial Markets Association of Singapore (FMAS) is thrilled to announce that our charity event will take place on May 28th at the beautiful Laguna National Golf Resort Club (Dusit Thani).
Laguna National’s Classic Golf Course is an exquisite 18-hole championship course nestled in lush tropical surroundings. With its meticulously maintained fairways, vibrant plant life, and serene water features, it offers a picturesque and tranquil golfing experience. The course is designed with sustainability and environmental harmony in mind, making it an ideal haven for both nature enthusiasts and golf lovers.
As the Chairperson of this extraordinary gathering, I am delighted to welcome you to our mission of supporting the “Financial Markets Give Back” movement. This tournament represents more than just a day of golf or an evening of dinner and drinks; it’s a chance for us to unite as a community and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve. We are particularly excited to bring back our dinner segment this year, providing an opportunity for us to gather as an industry and celebrate this special occasion together. If you’re not a golfer, we warmly invite you to join us for this memorable dinner event.
This year is especially significant as we celebrate SG60, and we hope to raise even more funds to support and empower those in need, particularly in the areas of education, employment, and community.
In this memorable year, your generous contributions will play a crucial role in helping us surpass our fundraising goals. Each year, we come together to raise funds for various charitable causes that address critical societal needs in Singapore. Your participation and generosity are essential in helping us achieve our goals and continue our vital work. Together, we can provide our Philanthropic Fund management partner, The Majurity Trust (TMT), with the resources needed to direct us toward the right charities that bring hope and assistance to those in need.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, volunteers, and all participants. Your support and enthusiasm are what make this event a success. Whether you’re an experienced golfer or just starting out, today is about enjoying the game, building connections, and celebrating our collective commitment to making a difference.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Let’s make this event unforgettable, filled with fun, friendship, and the spirit of giving, while also aiming to raise more funds than ever in this significant SG60 year!
Warm regards,
Jimmy Poh
