Alex Shterenberg is a Managing Director and Global Head of G10 and EM EFX Trading at Barclays, based in London.
Alex joins us after five years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he was Global Head of FX Algorithmic Execution, and Head of eFX Trading for the Americas. In this role he developed and oversaw cutting-edge pricing and hedging models.

Previously, Alex was at JP Morgan for six years, most recently as Global Head of FX Execution Services where he founded the FX algo business, and designed and implemented new algos, TCA models and tools. Before that, he was responsible for risk management in JPMorgan’s Automated Trading Strategies group. He has also worked as a senior consultant and developer at Broadway Technology after starting his banking career in Equities Market Data and Trade Execution Technology at UBS.
Alex graduated with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Aerospace Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mr Andrew Ng

Mr Andrew Ng is Group Executive of DBS & Head of Treasury and Markets. He joined DBS in 2000 and was named Managing Director and Regional Head of Trading in 2005.

Since 2006, Andrew has been instrumental in leading DBS Treasury and Market’s expansion in the region. In addition, he helped build a pan-Asia trading platform on different asset classes and established a region-wide local currencies derivative capability for the bank. He has also expanded DBS’ capabilities in generic and exotic derivatives.

Andrew has worked in the treasury business for over 35 years. Prior to joining DBS, he was Executive Director at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce from 1995 to 1999. In that role, he set up CIBC’s trading platform and derivative capabilities on Asian currencies. Between 1986 and 1995, Andrew was Head of North Asia Trading and Treasurer of Chase Manhattan Bank in Taipei.

Mr Bilahari Kausikan

Bilahari Kausikan is currently Chairman of the Middle East Institute, an autonomous institute of the National University of Singapore. He has spent his entire career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During his 37 years in the Ministry, he served in a variety of appointments at home and abroad, including as Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Permanent Representative to the UN in New York, and as the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry. Raffles Institution, the University of Singapore and Columbia University in New York all attempted to educate him.

Before entering the crypto market CJ started his career on the trading floor in Hong Kong as a Fixed Income Structurer at Morgan Stanley before switching roles to head up Fixed Income Solutions for Morgan Stanley Private Bank in APAC. He also worked for Nomura Private Bank, where he focused on key client solutions in both public and private markets. CJ holds a double degree from Singapore Management University.

Mr Daniel Maguire

Daniel became Group Head, Post Trade, London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) on 1 January 2020. He is also a member of LSEGs Executive Committee.

Daniel joined LCH in 1999, and during his career at LCH and LSEG has held a variety of senior roles including Global Head of SwapClear, ForexClear, LCH Group COO and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of LCH Group in October 2017.

Daniel had responsibility for risk management, default management, product management, regulatory strategy, programme delivery, sales, marketing and operations across LCH’s SwapClear service, chairing SwapClear Default Management Group and participating in LCHs Risk Committee. In 2010 Daniel established and built out LCH’s North America operations in New York and led SwapClear’s client clearing franchise. Daniel worked at J.P. Morgan from 2005 to 2008 before returning to LCH on 1 September 2008 where he was immediately responsible for the successful trading and unwinding of Lehman Brothers’ LCH-cleared bond and repo portfolio.

Over his career Daniel has made significant contributions to the development of CCP and derivatives regulatory frameworks across the globe, as well as a leading role in the industry in LIBOR and new reference rate transition, and also the UK withdrawal from the EU and the impact on Financial Services. Daniel was appointed to the Board of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) in April 2018, Daniel was appointed as Chairman of CurveGlobal Limited in May 2020 and also Chairman of UnaVista Limited in June 2021.

Ms Deborah Ho

Deborah is the regional head of the South East Asian business for BlackRock and country head of BlackRock Singapore.

Based in Singapore, Deborah is responsible for a wide-ranging portfolio in markets across South East Asia. This includes delivering the breadth and depth of BlackRock’s capabilities to clients in the region.

BlackRock is one of the world’s leading providers of investment, advisory and risk management solutions. As of Q4 2022, BlackRock’s assets under management total US$8.59 trillion across fixed income, cash management, alternative investment, real estate, equities and advisory strategies.

Deborah is a member of BlackRock’s Asia-Pacific Executive Committee. She was the APAC Chair for WIN from 2018 – 2022 and has had extensive experience at the helm of various women’s networks in the financial services industry in Asia and continues to champion gender equality in the workplace.

Deborah is passionate about developing leaders in the financial services sector in Asia. She is active in contributing to the development of the financial industry in Singapore. She represents BlackRock on the Financial Centre Advisory Panel of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), which consists the most senior representatives of the top financial institutions in Singapore. She was also a member of the Steering Committee of the Green Finance Industry Taskforce, an industry grouping convened by the MAS to accelerate the development of green finance in Singapore.

Deborah has 30 years of experience in Investment Banking and Asset Management and is on the investment committee of the LKY fund for Bilingualism. She is a Board member of the Singapore Land Transport Authority and is a trustee on the board of the Singapore Management University.

Deborah was most recently awarded the Lifetime achievement award by Markets Media Group in the 2021 Women in finance Asia Awards for her contribution to female talent development in the Finance Industry.

Mr Danny Yong

Danny Yong is the Co-CEO and Co-CIO of Dymon Asia Capital. He is Co-CIO of the firm’s flagship Multi-Strategy Investment Fund (MSIF) and sits on the investment committee of Dymon Asia Private Equity. Before founding Dymon Asia in 2008, Danny was a founding partner and CIO of Abax Global Capital, a hedge fund based in Hong Kong. Previously a Managing Director at Citadel Investment Asia, Danny established and ran the Asia Macro trading business from 2005 to 2007. Prior to Citadel, he was Head of Trading for South East Asian FX and Derivatives at Goldman Sachs, where he spent almost six years in its Hong Kong and Tokyo offices. Danny started his trading career at JP Morgan in 1997 as a FX currency and interest rate derivatives trader. He is Chairman of The Majurity Trust, a philanthropic organization that works with donors and charities to build a thriving and sustainable community for all in Singapore.

Mr Edmund Koh

Edmund Koh, a Singaporean, joined UBS in February 2012 as Group Managing Director, heading the UBS Wealth Management South East Asia and Asia Pacific Hub. He became a member of the Group Executive Board and was appointed President UBS Asia Pacific of UBS Group AG and UBS AG in January 2019. He was also Head Wealth Management Asia Pacific from 2016 – 2018 as well as Country Head Singapore from 2012 – February 2019.

Edmund oversees all the businesses across 13 locations in Asia Pacific and meets with key regulators and government officials regularly to exchange views on market and geopolitical development, and financial markets opening and policies. He has been invited to speak in various forums including the Institute of International Finance membership meeting.

Edmund is a strong advocate of talent management and community involvement. He launched the UBS Youth Finance Academy in 2014 to build the talent pipeline for Singapore’s financial industry and led and advocated for the implementation of 17 projects across Asia Pacific under the UBS COVID-19 Relief Funds program which totaled USD 30 million globally in 2020.

With more than 30 years’ experience in senior roles in financial services, Edmund is a board/council member of various committees including the MAS Financial Centre Advisory Panel, the Wealth Management Institute, the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research, and the University of Toronto International Leadership Council. He was also named a Distinguished Fellow by The Institute of Banking & Finance Singapore in 2017.

Edmund had also served as a Board member at the Singapore Housing Development Board for a period of 12 years from 1998 to 2010, Vice-Chairman of the Singapore Sports Council from 2002 to 2010 and Director of Singapore Totalizator Board from 1998 to 2004.

Edmund holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto, Canada.

Ms Elaine Yew

Elaine Yew is a Senior Partner in Egon Zehnder and the Global Co-Head for our Family Business and Family Office Practice. She is also the Asia lead of our Global Board Practice and a founding leader of our Global Leadership Advisory Practice. She serves private and public companies on succession planning for CEO, other C-level positions and Non-Executive positions and advises clients on CEO development, top team effectiveness, organizational culture and board effectiveness. Elaine is a trained Coach and Fellow of the Institute of Coaching, McLean, affiliated to the Harvard Medical School. She is also a certified Mediator and uses some of the principles in helping people work better together.

Elaine joined the firm in 2000 and spent the first nine years in the London office developing the Private Equity Practice in Europe. She moved to Singapore to lead the office there as Managing Partner until 2016. She was also a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee for eight years.

Before joining the firm, Elaine helped to lead an industry change program while at Global Freight Exchange, the world’s first Internet-based global marketplace for air cargo. Prior to that, she was Executive Director with Goldman Sachs in the European Equities Division, based in London. Earlier, she was a Consultant with Monitor Company, working across Europe with clients in diverse sectors. She started her career with the Singapore Economic Development Board, where she was at the center of early regionalization work, helping Singapore companies develop their presence in Indochina and Myanmar in the early 1990s.

Elaine’s first passion was the Theatre, and she has a BA with Honours in English and Drama from the University of Kent and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Education is a big area of interest for Elaine and where most of her community work is centered. She serves on the Board of Trustees of the National University of Singapore and is a member of the Industry Advisory Board of NUS’s School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE). Elaine also serves on the Board of Governors of the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus group of schools in Singapore.

Elaine’s other focus in her community work is in the area of leadership and workforce development in Singapore. She sat on the Board of Workforce Singapore, and is on the Advisory Board of Women’s Forum Singapore. She sits on the board of The Majurity Trust, a philanthropic foundation, and chairs their Tangent Initiative.

In addition, Elaine is a Director on the Board of SPH Media Holdings, on the independent Nominating Committee of BW Offshore, BW Energy, BW LPG and Hafnia, listed on the Norwegian Stock Exchange; and is a member of the Asia Advisory Board of Allianz. She is also a board member of the Singapore International Mediation Centre and is a Justice of the Peace.

Mr Gerald Chan

Mr. Gerald Chan a Partner at Dymon Asia Capital. Prior to joining Dymon Asia in July 2015, Mr. Chan was Country Head and CEO of UBS in Singapore. Mr. Chan worked in UBS from 1994 – July 2015 and held various key roles in his tenor within the firm.

Dr Jeffrey Jaensubhakij

Dr Jeffrey Jaensubhakij was appointed Group Chief Investment Officer in January 2017. He oversees GIC’s total investment portfolio, and works with investment group heads to manage and monitor investment activities across all asset classes. He also leads the development of short- and long-term investment policies to optimize the risk-reward of the total portfolio across changing investment environments. He joined GIC in 1998 as a Senior Economist covering the US economy and was subsequently appointed Co-Head of Asset Allocation Strategy in the Economics and Strategy Department. He was Head of Total Return Equities and the US Equities teams based in GIC’s New York Office from 2003 to 2011. He was subsequently appointed President, Europe in 2011 coordinating GIC’s investment activities in Europe across public and private asset classes, President, Public Markets and Director of Public Equities in 2013, and Deputy Group Chief Investment Officer in 2016.

Dr Jaensubhakij holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cambridge University, as well as a Master’s and a PhD in Economics from Stanford University.

Mr John Ho

John Ho is the Global Head of Legal, Financial Markets for Standard Chartered Bank (“SCB”), overseeing and providing legal advisory, transactional and documentation support for Financial Markets (FM) business globally for Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), its branches and affiliates. Mr Ho is a member of Regulatory Working Group of the ACI FMA. Mr. Ho is also the co-chair of (1) the ISDA South East Asia Legal and Regulatory Committee and (2) the ISDA Asia Pacific ESG Working group.

He is an active participant in the industry’s Fintech events and is a public speaker on topics such as Central Bank Digital Currencies, Blockchain, Digital Assets, Financial Markets, Sustainability and Regulatory Reforms. He serves as a mentor to startups and co-authored a publication from the World Economic Forum called The Digital Currency Governance Consortium Whitepaper, published in November 2021. He is a also mentor for the UK FCA Sustainability TechSprint, FCA Digital Sandbox, R3 and LongHash.

Prior to joining SCB, Mr. Ho was the Managing Director Principal in the legal department of Bear Stearns (Japan), Ltd (“Bear Stearns”) where he supported the Asia franchise (including Tokyo, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, India and South-east Asia) from January 2003 to August 2008 covering various structured products and derivatives including equity derivatives, credit derivatives, fixed income and commodities.

Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Mr. Ho worked as Asia equity counsel for Lehman Brothers in Tokyo with experience dealing in convertibles, options, warrants, delta one products and other types of equity derivatives transactions, equity finance and equity capital markets.

He is qualified as an advocate and solicitor in Singapore since 1995 and he received his law degree from the National University of Singapore.

Mr. Leng Hoe Lon is Global Head of FX Flow & EM Linear Rates Trading Global Markets, AEJ at Nomura Singapore. He also leads Nomura’s Cross Markets proprietary trading business in Asia.

Hoe Lon has 25 years of experience in trading and investing in financial markets. He started his career at Deutsche Bank, followed by trading roles across Asia and London with JP Morgan, ABN AMRO, Goldman Sachs, and Tudor Capital. Prior to joining Nomura, Hoe Lon was Head of Financial Markets (Singapore, Brunei and Australia) and Head of Macro Trading (ASEAN and South Asia) at Standard Chartered Bank.

In addition to his sellside and buyside experience, Hoe Lon has been a founder, advisor, and investor of various startups in Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Blockchain. He has published two books: Decrypted – A Financial Trader’s Take on Cryptocurrency and Deflated – How To Find Your Footing in a Shaky Blockchain Investment World.

Hoe Lon earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Warwick, and he is a CFA charterholder.

Mr Martijn Hoogerwerf

Martijn Hoogerwerf is Head of Sustainable Finance APAC at ING. Based in Singapore, Martijn joined ING’s Sustainable Finance team in 2019 with over 10 years of experience in the sustainable finance markets, where he took on a variety of climate-related investment and advisory roles during this period.

Prior to moving into the environmental finance space, Martijn spent eight years in Fortis’ Transportation & Logistics and the Strategic Development teams (now merged with ABN Amro) and focused on expanding its wholesale banking activities in Asia. He moved to Hong Kong in 2006 as part of his tenure with Fortis.

Martijn brings a unique blend of commercial banking knowledge, sustainability expertise, and APAC experience. He has been instrumental in ensuring Sustainable Finance is front and center in client facing functions, securing leading mandates, and driving the growth of ING’s Sustainable Finance activities in APAC. He is Chairman of ING’s APAC Sustainable Finance Forum, a member of ING’s Sustainable Finance Management Team and Sustainable Finance Quality Board.

Martijn holds an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona/Spain and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.

Mr Mohit Khurana

Mohit Khurana is the Chief Investment officer of Southern Ridges Capital and has been trading emerging markets across FX and rates through different cycles since 2002. He founded Southern Ridges Capital in 2019 following a consistent 6 year track record of high risk-adjusted returns at BlueCrest Capital where he had started as a standalone portfolio manager in 2012. He has been able to identify, recruit and manage talent throughout his career and had built a team of 9 experienced portfolio managers prior to the launch of Southern Ridges Capital.

Prior to joining BlueCrest, Mohit was heading the South Asia Onshore & Offshore Rates trading desks at JP Morgan. Mohit began his career at Citibank, Mumbai trading India rates and FX. He then joined Barclays in 2004 where he was instrumental as part of the senior core trading team, in establishing the EM Offshore Rates
Trading desk presence in new markets such as Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia. Mohit holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a B.E. in Industrial & Production Engineering from SGSITS, Indore, India.

 

Mr Peng Cheng

Peng Cheng is Managing Director and Head of Big Data and AI Strategies at JPMorgan. He is responsible for developing cross asset investment strategies leveraging alternative data and advanced statistical techniques. Prior to joining the bank in 2010, he was a Convertible and Volatility strategist at Lehman Brothers/Barclays. Peng is frequently quoted in the financial press and his research has been used as university teaching materials. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley and is a CFA charterholder.

Mr Piyush Gupta

Mr. Piyush Gupta has been Chief Executive Officer and Director of DBS Group since 2009.

Piyush is currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Singapore Management University, Vice-Chairman of the Institute of International Finance, Washington, and Vice-Chairman of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) Executive Committee. In addition, he is a member of Singapore’s Advisory Council on the Ethical Use of AI and Data, and Bretton Woods Committee – Advisory Council. He sits on the boards of Singapore’s National Research Foundation, and the Singapore’s Council for Board Diversity. Piyush is a term trustee of the Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA). Previously, he has been a member of the Singapore Emerging Stronger Taskforce, aimed at defining Singapore’s future in a post-Covid world, the UN Secretary General’s Task Force on Digital Financing of the Sustainable Development Goals, and the McKinsey Advisory Council.

Piyush has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, India and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM, Ahmedabad.

Piyush was awarded the Public Service Star by the President of Singapore for his meritorious services to the nation in 2020. He is a recipient of the 2023 Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award, the highest honour conferred by the Indian Government on the country’s diaspora.

Piyush was named one of the world’s top 100 best-performing chief executives in Harvard Business Review – 2019 edition of “The CEO 100”. He was named Global Indian of the Year by the Economic Times in 2021, Singapore Business Awards’ Outstanding Chief Executive of the Year in 2016, and Singapore Business Leader of the Year by CNBC in 2014.

In his personal capacity, Piyush takes a keen interest in nature, and is a Co-Chairman of the BirdLife International Advisory Group.

Stéphane Malrait is Managing Director and Global Head of market structure and innovation for Financial Markets at ING Bank. Stephane is working with advocacy groups, policy makers and regulators to follow market structure and industry challenges impacting the financial market industry. He is also leading innovation activities in the capital market space within ING and developing external partnership with Fintech companies. He actively contributes in industry working groups to represent ING Bank.

Stéphane joined ING in 2015 to lead the bank e-commerce initiatives across all financial market products and to develop the financial market group’s cross-asset ecommerce strategy. Before joining ING, Stephane spent eight years at Société Générale, where he was Global Head of FIC eCommerce, creating an eCommerce business covering credit, rates, money market, emerging market and FX. Prior to this, Stéphane worked at JPMorgan Chase for ten years, serving in different roles in Global FX E-Commerce Business Management and cross-asset eCommerce technology and was based in London and New York.

Stephane has a strong background in financial markets and understands the need for continued technological development to drive positive change in trading and market structure workflows. He is leading ING Financial Market innovation strategy and working on the implementation of financial regulations that will impact the clients trading activity and transform how trading floor operates.

Stephane is also an advisor or board member for several Fintech initiatives and trading associations in Fixed income and FX. Since 2005 he has been active with the ACI Financial Market Association – an international non-profit organisation that represents the interests of market professionals in foreign exchange and money markets. He chaired the ACI FX committee from 2010 for 10 years and joined ACI FMA board in 2020 and became chairman of the board in June 2021. He is also an active member of the ECB FX contact group and co-chair the BIS Global FX code of conduct Algo and TCA sub-group.

 

Mr Jacky Tai

Managing Director,
Group Head of Trading, Treasury & Markets

Jacky Tai is the Group Head of Trading & Structuring for Treasury & Markets at DBS Bank. Assuming this role since 2018, Jacky has been responsible for the management of trading, market making, product structuring and risk warehousing activities across asset classes regionally.

He joined Treasury & Markets at DBS in 1999 and was tasked to build up DBS Greater China trading operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China. In addition to driving business outcomes, the teams in Greater China have also won many awards and accolades in local and derivatives markets from Asian Risk, Global Finance, Banker, and other leading market intelligence under Jacky’s stewardship.

An avid innovator and market pioneer, Jacky has also represented DBS Hong Kong, Singapore, and China in public forums and associations initiated by regulators such as the Hong Kong Treasury Market Association committee, ACI, ASFIMA task force, China QFII, Singapore RQFII, FX Global Code, Blue Book, China Bond Connect. Most recently, he was appointed as Treasurer of the Financial Markets Association of Singapore in January 2021. Jacky is also a strong believer in embracing Asian connectivity and digitalisation for the advancement of financial markets. He was recently conferred the IBF Fellow Award in Financial Markets in 2022.

Before joining DBS Bank, Jacky was Head of Asian Derivatives Trading at Dresdner Bank AG. He has also worked at Nomura, and JP Morgan in Hong Kong, Singapore, and New York.

Jacky graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computer Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Mr Jack Loh

Jack joined ING Bank in 2011 and is currently the Head of Corporate Sector Coverage for APAC. He has held different roles at ING Bank, previously as Global Head of Financial Markets Sales, Regional Head of Client Solutions Group and Head of FM in Hong Kong.

Jack joined the banking industry in 1993. Before ING, he was a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley where he joined in 2005 and headed the Regional Corporate Sales and solutions businesses. He also worked at JPMorgan Chase in New York, Hong Kong and Singapore in various cross-assets roles covering institutional investors and corporates.

Jack holds a MS degree from Stanford University and a BS from The Ohio State University.

Mr John Lagman

John has worked at Bloomberg for 8 years. He currently runs Crypto & FX Business strategy in APAC. His role is to see new trends, market structure, products etc.. in order to help our Product Managers and R&D create the right FX & Crypto tools for our clients. He runs a popular Crypto webinar series and routinely speaks & works as a moderator for Bloomberg and Association events. Prior to Bloomberg John ran FX Options Trading desks since the 90’s, from large global banks to Asian Regional Banks, before transitioning to the Macro Hedge Fund industry. Hence he has a strong focus in Derivatives (Crypto and FX).

Mr Lee Beng Hong

Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC)

Mr Lee Beng Hong is Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) at Singapore Exchange (SGX Group). He joined SGX Group on 1 August 2019 to spearhead the newly-formed FICC business unit, as part of the group’s efforts to build scale in multiple asset classes.

As Head of FICC, Mr Lee will focus on expanding the range of products, platforms and partnerships for this growing set of asset classes.

He oversees SGX Group’s wholly-owned subsidiaries BidFX and MaxxTrader, both global leading electronic FX trading workflow platforms; the Baltic Exchange — the world’s leading source of maritime market information for the trading and settlement of physical and derivative contracts; and the Energy Market Company which operates Singapore’s wholesale electricity market.

As part of SGX Group’s focus on digital transformation and sustainability, Mr Lee will also be building upon the group’s digital asset joint venture with Temasek – Marketnode; Climate Impact X (CIX), a global exchange for high-quality voluntary carbon credits, jointly established by DBS Bank, SGX Group, Standard Chartered and Temasek, as well as the group’s strategic investments in Trumid XT, an electronic bond trading platform and Freightos, a digital freight platform and data firm.

With over 19 years of experience in global markets, Mr Lee has held various senior roles in Deutsche Bank, specialising in Asian FICC trading, structuring, sales and coverage. He most recently led Deutsche Bank’s financing and solutions group for North Asia, in addition to his responsibilities as Executive Vice-President of Deutsche Bank China and Head of Global Markets, China.

He started his career in Deutsche Bank Singapore, where he managed rates and FX trading books across G3 and Asian markets.

Mr Lee holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, as well as a Master of Engineering (Civil) from National University of Singapore.

Ms Tan Yan Pheng

Ping Tan is a Managing Director at Bank of America (BofA). She heads the Asia EFX & Asia Transactional FX trading teams based out of Singapore, with global oversight of the principal EFX traders managing risks for the electronic FX franchise. Besides her trading risk mandate, she is also responsible for product development across Global FX & Emerging Markets, as well as EFX to continue expanding BofA’s electronic offering, in addition to overseeing all regulatory and governance-related matters for EFX globally. Ping joined the BofA Singapore office in 2004 as an Emerging Markets FX trader before relocating to the London office in 2006 and established the EFX trading desk operation globally in 2007. She relocated to Hong Kong office in October 2015 and most recently relocated back to the Singapore office in May 2022. Beyond her day job, Ping has been heavily involved in all firm wide D&I initiatives including chairing the APAC FICC Employee Engagement Committee, member of the BofA Philanthropy Committees in Hong Kong and Singapore, as well as past leadership roles in APAC Women Leadership Council, Global Markets Campus recruitment committee, Hong Kong Parents & Caregivers Network co-chair, and 2016 Global Volunteer Award. Ping graduated from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.

Kenneth Kan

Mr. Kenneth Kan is the Managing Partner and Deputy CEO at Dymon Asia Capital. With extensive experience in trading and portfolio management, he joined Dymon Asia in 2012 and has since played a vital role in the firm’s growth.

As Deputy CEO, Mr. Kan focuses on human and investor capital, overseeing the Business Development department, ESG efforts, Investor Relations, Human Resources, Communications, CSR, and Office Administration.

Mr. Kan’s industry involvement extends beyond his role at Dymon Asia. He serves on the Exco of the Financial Markets Association of Singapore (FMAS), where he also chairs the Education sub-committee. Furthermore, he actively participates in three working groups initiated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS): the Human Resources Industry Group, the Singapore Foreign Exchange Market Committee and the Financial Sector Tripartite Committee. He is also a valued member of the SBAI ESG working group and holds the distinction of being an IBF Fellow.

Outside of his professional roles, Mr. Kan contributes to non-profit organizations as a board member of The Majurity Trust, Ray of Hope, and the Children’s Museum of Singapore. He graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce (Finance).

Through his leadership and expertise, Mr. Kenneth Kan continues to make a significant impact in the financial sector and the community.

Mr Li Zhen

Li Zhen is Deputy Head of FX Derivatives Trading and Structuring for Treasury & Markets at DBS Bank. He has over a decade of trading and portfolio management experience in various G7 and Asian EM FX Derivatives markets. Li Zhen also leads the team for FX solutions and product structuring. In addition, Li Zhen is responsible for DBS FX Derivatives pricing engine and digital distribution solution.

Ms Sneha Sanghvi

Sneha joined DBS in 2022 as the Head of Institutional Investors within the FIG team in the Institutional Banking Group. Her responsibilities include coverage of NBFIs such as real money managers, sovereign wealth funds and hedge funds.She leads a team of specialists providing financing, investment and other banking products and is based in Singapore. Prior to this, she was the Head of Financial Markets, Asia for Westpac Banking Corporation where she was responsible for Westpac’s trading, sales and structuring activities across Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and Commodities in dealing with corporate and institutional clients.

Sneha is actively engaged in the financial markets community through representation at the Executive Committee of FMAS, Singapore. She is a passionate advocate for about diversity and inclusion within financial markets.
