ACI Financial Markets Association (ACI FMA) is a leading global trade association representing the interests of professionals in the global financial market community since its establishment in 1955.

This year, we are extremely pleased to have the Financial Markets Association Singapore (FMAS), which is affiliated with ACI FMA, host our 61st ACI World Congress, on the 21st & 22nd of September 2023 in one of the world’s leading financial hubs. ACI FMA has set the standards for the industry and remains focused on enhancing best financial market practices and supporting market professionals’ conduct, whilst also setting the standards in global practice and financial markets accreditations. Therefore, it is important that all our international members, from all corners of the globe, support our ACI World Congress.

With representation from up to 60 local ACI FMA National Associations, our annual World Congresses always bring a lot of value to each participant. In 2022, we had a sold-out ACI World Congress in Paris in November 2022, where there was a good opportunity to hear from leading thought leaders and for many participants to network. In Singapore, the 61st ACI World Congress will explore the global challenges of the financial market industry with a dedicated focus on the increased role of Asia in the world economy. I know that FMAS has lined-up up a great agenda, so I encourage all of you to be part of this event in Singapore as we are expecting close to 500 delegates, from across the world, to attend this renowned event.

To all Sponsors and members attending, a big “Thank You” as I trust our Singapore colleagues will make this Congress a memorable one for all.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you in Singapore!

Leng Hoe Lon

Chairperson of ACIWC 2023

Welcome to Singapore. The ACI FMA World Congress 2023 will be held here, and it is an opportune time to bring Financial Markets practitioners globally, with the world fully back from the pandemic. The World Congress, since it was first established in 1955, has been committed to creating networking opportunities and two days event packed with a remarkable industry line-up of speakers and exhibitions.

Let us remember that, in the last few years, we have faced unprecedented risks on multiple fronts, including health, financial and geopolitical. Yet, we survived, and the financial markets have been the cornerstone of the process and will be even more critical in years to come. Collaboration and cooperations are the ways forward.

The theme this year is “Navigating Asia in the Next Decade”. Investing in this continent has become more complex than ever. But, at the same time, it leads to immense opportunities. We hope the content of the two-day conference will help guide participants through the mindshare of the esteemed speakers and the fellowship by meeting new friends. We will delve into the following topics; The resilience of Financial Markets Institutions, how buy-side institutions generate alpha, talent and diversity, sustainable finance and how we navigate the multi-polar world.

On behalf of FMAS Singapore, we thank all the sponsors and participants for making this happen. We are looking forward to bringing you an inspiring conference in September!

Thank you
